We would like to introduce a case study of the instant deodorizer "Deofre" handled by MITOMO Corporation. It was introduced as a measure against solvent odors and putrid smells from the exhaust of a water-wash painting booth. The site involved an exhaust duct for a painting booth with an exhaust airflow of 150 m³/min, where the product was diluted with tap water and sprayed into the exhaust duct. This case study introduces how the unpleasant odors generated during dismantling with gas welding equipment were reduced by spraying the deodorant "Mushugen Y250-SQ," aiming to improve the environment inside the tunnel. After the dismantling work of the shield machine, unpleasant odors worsened the working environment inside the tunnel. The deodorant "Mushugen Y250-SQ" was diluted to 2,000 times and sprayed at a rate of 276 ml/min using one mist fan.
